Location: Windsor
4 star destination hotel in the Windsor High Street we are currently recruiting for an experienced Bartender to join our vibrant and enthusiastic team.
As the Bartender, you will be our 'ambassador on the guests journey' through their day in the hotel.
From morning coffee with The Guard marching by, to Afternoon Tea in The Lounge - Pre dinner aperitifs and cocktails to wines with dinner in our restaurant. and finally digestives and late night drinks in our bar
You will be expected to run the daily operation, serving food items, preparing and creating all beverages and high quality cocktails for our guests. You should have wine, cocktail and spirit knowledge.
Ideally from a hotel or cruise line or upscale bar background. You must have exceptional customer service skills and be focused on delivering the highest possible levels of service to our guests.
Main Duties:
To recognise to the needs and comfort of the guest throughout service, as our main focus is guest relation and satisfaction, and to lead by example.
Interact with guests in a warm and hospitable manner and to acknowledge our regular guests
To be part of a philosophy of excellence..
Possess complete & thorough knowledge of the food & beverage items for The Bar and lounge, as well as the other areas of the hotel.
Accurately process the orders received using Epos system.
Take responsibility for the presentation and the smooth running of the Bar with attention paid to service and our guests.
Maintain and deliver consistent company standards.
Skills:
Previous experience as a Bartender in hotel, cruise line or upscale bar
A good approach to teamwork
Excellent communication skills
Superb attention to detail
Excellent personal presentation
Flexibility to work on rota a must.
