Position Summary

Plans and executes local store marketing (LSM) to build relationships and awareness within the community and connect with them in a genuine way.  Works closely with the Marketing Director to coordinate all efforts with the following goals:

  • Enhance the store's image in the community and build local relationships
  • Increase customer loyalty
  • Build brand awareness
  • Grow store traffic, sales and awareness
  • Marketing/Events
  • Community relations

Major duties and responsibilities:

Marketing/Events

  • Create and implement local store marketing plans for new store openings (NSO)
  • Create and implement ongoing local store marketing for existing stores
  • Meet regularly with stores to discuss opportunities
  • Create turnkey promotions and opportunities
  • Organize all events
  • Track, analyze, monitor and measure marketing effectiveness
  • Building relationships within the community
  • Set up programs with local charities, schools, business, etc.
  • Ability to creat promotional and informational materials
  • Coordinate production of advertising and promotional spots/materials
  • Keep an itemized list of events and budgets
  • Submit all expenses

Qualifications & Job Requirements

  • Must have an approachable, outgoing, likable personality
  • Must be able to work as a team player and work with a multitude of personalities in a positive and effective manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work effectively and courteously in person and over the phone
  • Knowledge of computer skills and typing skills and open to learning new software and computer programs
  • Must be able to work flexible hours in conjunction with events and functions for the dealership
  • Will be required to shop for supplies for events 
  • Must have the ability to lift items 40lbs in weight without assistance
  • Must be able to assist and coordinate the setting up of tents, tables, chairs, merchandise and other items required for events

Working Conditions

  • Majority of work is conducted indoors; however, most events are conducted outside during events, rallies and other off-site events
