WAYBACK BURGERS MANAGER DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY

Manages franchised fast food establishment by performing the following duties personally or through other unit leadership and team members. 

DUTIES

Directs, coordinates, and participates in preparation of all types of food served or prepared by individual unit; collection of monies from in-house or take-out customers. Coordinates activities of team members, keeps business records, coordinates ordering, purchasing and inventory of supplies. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

To perform the job successfully, an individual should possess the following abilities/skills:

  • Language -Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, vendors, and unit team members.
  • Math - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Reasoning - _ Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Computer - Knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Inventory software; Internet software; Order processing systems and Database software.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Directly supervises unit employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
