The Belden House is a long-term, licensed, adult residential facility of 15 beds and specializing in TBI, located in downtown Santa Rosa. We are looking for new staff members to join our home-like facility as a Resident Assistant. We offer paid time off, holiday pay, and promotion opportunities.



Please note: we are not a skilled nursing facility.



The position begins at $14.00/hr, we offer PTO, sick pay, and health benefits for full time workers. 



We currently are looking for applicants to fill:



Awake overnight shifts (11:00pm-6:45am) (all days)



We are looking to fill FT and PT positions. 



Resident Assistant Job Description:



Duties include but are not limited to:




  • Distributing medication 

  • Assisting residents with ADLs (toileting, bathing, etc.) 

  • Monitoring safety conditions of the house 

  • Cleaning and sanitizing the house 

  • Completing documentation on residents' behavior, daily tasks, and any health changes.



Qualifications:




  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.

  • Ability to relate positively with residents, their families, co-workers and administrators.

  • Ability to function as a team member in an interdisciplinary staff.

  • Willingness to participate in specific continuing education programs.

  • Ability to document concise reports.

  • A valid California Drivers' License.

  • No Reckless Driver convictions in the past three years.

  • No DUI/DWI convictions in the past three years.

  • No more than two moving violation convictions in the past three years.

  • Current certification in First Aid (or must be done within 30 days of employment)

  • No criminal convictions with the exceptions of minor traffic violations.

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.



Physical Job Requirements:




  • Ability to read and write in English, with or without the aid of corrective lenses 

  • Ability to hear and speak in person and on the telephone, with or without the aid of an assistive devices 

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time 

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds 

  • Ability to pass intermittent drugs tests 

  • Personal mobility which enables you to move functionally in the work environment and out in the community 

  • Must pass a Physical Health Evaluation and Tuberculosis reading annually
