Be the primary, senior developer responsible for automating the software development lifecycle as well as the test suites that the internal software solutions support. Shepard continuous integration and continuous testing across a wide berth of deployed platforms. Candidate will drive the current and future technology choices for automation support.
Development team is a diverse group of individuals from a variety of backgrounds. Culture is appealing to driven people and independent learners who enjoy pushing the boundaries of software solutions.
Essential Job Functions
Build test automation for several different kinds of software releases related to NMS functions, WWW applications, APIs and data analysis.Manage vendor devices in lab setting used for testing and development.Develop and manage deployment automation.Maintain understanding of available technologies and drive team towards valuable tools and frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient in ruby or python.Proficient in shell scripting.Experience with Jenkins.Experience with networking devices.Experience with Docker or other Linux Container solutionExperience with MPEG.Experience with node.js helpful.Experience with golang helpful.Experience with puppet helpful.5+ years building some manner of automation. Test, release, deployment automation all examples of relevant experience.Solid understanding of IP.
