A successful IT Manager will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience managing personnel or some combination of experience and education.

  • Experience driving new projects and development efforts.
  • Ability to manage multiple efforts and communicate results at an executive level.

The IT Manager will be a part of an up and coming team within a growing sector of our business' technology department. This manager will be overseeing projects with extremely high visibility that are pivotal to our companies technical growth in regards to efficiency through automation. They will manage a group of IT professionals responsible for systems and programs that provide operational monitoring, alerting, reporting, and process efficiencies across the organization. Technologies include SCOM monitoring, Tripwire, QRadar, Service Now, and custom tools and dashboards. 

 

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

  • Match resources and personnel with critical projects and development efforts to ensure successful execution.
  • Own monitoring and logging processes to guarantee compliance requirements are met.
  • Partner with customers to build out new tools and processes that improve efficiency.
  • Own the Service Now development road-map and partner with the Ops Support Team to ensure  work is aligned with their activities.
  • Lead and develop a team of software developers with various skill sets.
