About this job
We need companion care for 6 days a week to take care of my mother in Poughkeepsie. Additional responsibilities include meal preparation. One of your responsibilities will be helping with bathing. Please be willing to do light housekeeping. It's very important that you like animals. We have 2 dogs, 4 cats, goats and chickens! (fresh eggs are a perk)
My mother's long term memory is completely in tact. It's her short term memory that is very poor and mandates someone to be in the house with her at all times. She was a professional abstract artist in her day, and can be very entertaining!
