Job Overview:

The Digital Merchant will collaborate with the DMM on the development, formulation and execution of the digital merchandising and marketing strategy; acquisition, retention, congruency of print to digital media. They will develop ideas in partnership with the DMM for digital campaign planning, all digital marketing assets and programs (search and affiliate) based on merchandise strategies. The Digital Merchant will ensure appropriate level of assortment to support proposed digital stories / messages and will need to collaborate with the Omni Buyer to influence online assortment based on channel specific needs and capabilities to drive sales and capture market share. They will work with the Digital Director to lead in the development of the vision and execution of digital demand and fulfillment strategies (backorder, cancellations, fulfillment threshold, strategic CS).



Essential Functions:
  • Responsible for the translation of the Omni DMMs' vision to digital space.
  • Determine online exclusion and promotional campaigns by FOB in conjunction with the DMM.
  • Analyze web demand and form recommendations to drive the digital business.
  • Lead FOB brand digital strategies deep dive" that integrates merchandising competitive landscape, site experience and marketing.
  • Collaborate with site merchandising on landing page, banner, navigation and sequencing execution.
  • Review and approve marketing digital assets and confirm in stock position on featured styles through the buying team members who are doing the tracking.
  • Responsible for fluency of online competition to inform buying and marketing execution.
  • Develop and review effectiveness of retention marketing strategy.
  • Attend DMM pyramid seasonal merchandise and marketing strategies.
  • Involved in the ideation of special projects and editorial assets.
  • Involved in test-site reviews for promotions/events and special projects.
  • Consult with marketing on SEO, SEM and affiliate programs to inform search, affiliate and marketing strategy.




Qualifications:

Education/Experience
  • 4 year College Degree required.
  • Strong PC skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to adapt to changing work & business priorities.
  • Demonstrated skill at balancing multiple projects and making good decisions regarding prioritization.
