Positions in this
function assist in monitoring drug inventory within pharmacy mail order
computer system. Processes drug purchases, verifies shipments against invoices,
follows up on discrepancies. Maintains proper storage of drug inventory.
Monitors and adjusts/calibrates pharmacy equipment, fills dispensing units.
Processes, packs and ships outgoing pharmacy orders. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Dispensing prescriptions, handling inventory, following pharmacy
policies and procedures. Working accurately in a high production environment-
Accurately process pharmacy orders, at satisfactorily production levelsReplenish shelves and automated dispensing machinesMonitors and adjusts/calibrates pharmacy equipment, fills dispensing unitsOperate and interface with automated pharmacy packaging equipmentConstantly meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality
standards while maintaining a good attendance record Stocking shelves (may include lifting up to 30 lbs.) Lengthy periods, often the entire shift, working on your feetUse of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse to operate automated machinery,
and handling other objectsAbility to work overtime and flexible schedules. Ability to stand for long
periods of time, up to eight (8) hoursLimited work experienceWorks on simple tasks using established proceduresDepends on others for guidanceWork is typically reviewed by others

Requirements

Requirements:Must have previous Basic
computer skills and knowledgeMust be authorization to work
in the United StatesHS diploma / GED required Assets:Worked in an Industrial
packing/shipping departmentPrevious experience with
automated and semi-automatized packing machines
