We are looking for an individual who will be responsible for meeting the Human Resources needs of leadership and associates within the DeForest client group. The HR Generalist provides guidance, consultation, and direction regarding employee relations, staffing needs (including assisting in the strategic direction of hiring a very large seasonal workforce), and organizational changes and initiatives. This individual will also facilitate training in a variety of topics as needed. The HR Generalist will develop strong relationships and be seen as a trusted and valued business partner and employee advocate; they will partner with Middleton and Wilmot peers on various projects and department initiatives.

Job Description

Experience, Education & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Previous mass hiring recruitment experience
- Strong working knowledge of HR principles and practices
- Knowledge of State and Federal laws pertaining to employment
- Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Previous experience with Applicant Tracking systems
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Previous experience in EH&S is a plus
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred
