Primary Responsibilities:

Provide accurate & timely financial reports and analysis

Ensure timely W-2, 1099, and state filings in accordance with regulations

Reconcile accuracy of extracted data to claim system
Provide accurate & timely financial reports and analysis

Ensure that the Financial and Reporting team meets all productivity standards
Identify opportunities to collaborate with internal and external customers to accomplish organizational goals and resolve barriers

Engage resources for effective plan execution, including consideration of impact, prior to taking action
Assess customer needs and requirements, especially non-standard requests and problems, and respond or refer to appropriate resources

Teach, coach, and mentors others

Demonstrates ability in customer service issue resolution and relationship building

Demonstrate solid understanding and comfort utilizing multiple computer systems / applications, including Microsoft Office products

Ability to make timely, confident decisions based on available data / facts

Solid communication skills, including the ability to listen objectively and articulate the facts of an issue verbally and in writing

Ability to collaborate across all levels of organization for successful outcomes

Ability to multitask and shift priorities quickly, professionally and positively to accommodate urgent tasks and to reach team, business area, and corporate goals
Ability to interact professionally with all internal and external customers, including peers, members of other business areas / segments, attorneys, etc.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


BA / BS

5+ years of experience in finance, tax or financial protection products

Advanced level of experience and proficiency with MS Excel
Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Prior Management experience
Information Technology or business analyst background
