As a part of our continued growth, we are searching for a new Part-time Nurse Practitioner to join our team in providing care to patients in our Immediate Care Extended Hours Clinic. The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for managing patient care and treatment in collaboration with the Physician.
 
***Schedule: Monday to Friday from 5pm to 8pm and Saturday from 9am to 3pm***
 
Primary Responsibilities:
 


Examines, diagnoses and treats patients for acute injuries, infections, and illnesses in collaboration with the supervising Physician.

Counsels and educates patients and families about acute and chronic conditions or concerns

Prescribes and administers medications, therapies, and procedures

Orders labs, imaging tests and consultations to determine and manage an immediate treatment plan

Completes all documentation and paperwork in a timely manner

Maintains quality of care standards as defined by the practice and facility
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Requirements

Requirements:


Active and unrestricted California Nurse Practitioner license.

Current and unrestricted DEA certificate required.

2 or more years of outpatient NP experience     

Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously.

Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
 
Preferred assets:


Urgent Care or ER NP experience

Managed Care/IPA/Health Plan experience

Bilingual in Spanish
