About this job
Position Purpose: Complete various projects while developing skills related to the managed care market.
Coordinate and develop projects based on departmental needs and intern interests
Conduct research regarding various legal, regulatory, and other topics in managed care
Analyze data to determine effectiveness of programs and assist in identifying areas of opportunity
Assist in the development of program design, with focus on how to manage outcomes
Develop and revise reports and presentations for senior company executives
Communicate project status and results to senior company executives
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree. Must be pursuing a Master's degree in a field related to the hiring department. Must have at least 1 year of general work experience, and working knowledge of measuring program outcomes, including statistical analysis. Microsoft Office proficiency required.
Juris Doctorate
Bachelor's degree. Must be pursuing a Juris Doctorate degree. At least 1 years of general work experience and strong analytical, research, problem solving and writing skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Completion of first year of law school preferred. Pursuit of a joint MBA or MHA degree preferred.
Health Policy
Bachelor's degree. Must be pursuing a Juris Doctorate degree. Must have at least 1 year of general work experience, with significant experience in Lexis/Nexis research and preferably an interest in health care policy. Microsoft Office proficiency required.
