Job Summary Write and edit content for a variety of media: school website, eNewsletters and others. Conduct research for story material online and through in-person interviews. Assist in maintaining content for the School of Information website (si.umich.edu) and the Master of Health Informatics website (healthinformatics.umich.edu), including writing and posting news stories and profiles.
Required Qualifications* Strong writing and editing skills; excellent grammar and punctuation; ability to write persuasive promotional copy; ability to proofread carefully.
Proficient with MS Office and basic photo-editing software.
Strong computer skills, with knowledge of user experience, website content principles and content management systems desirable.
Academic focus in English, public relations, marketing, communications, or journalism suggested, but all concentrations considered. Must be reliable and responsible.
