Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services/General Manager 3 for an esteemed system just 30 miles from Detroit located in Monroe, Michigan. This a a fast paced 200 acute care facility with approximately 320K cleanable square feet. There are also several outer buildings that this role will be responsible to manage. The selected candidate must have stellar customer service skills as the client/ patient experience is crucial to this role. This position requires a take charge, hands-on individual that will lead/train employees with proper quality assurance and safety guidelines.
The skills preferred for this position include previous experience managing in a union environment, excellent written and verbal communication skills and a passion for driving and improving the patient experience. This housekeeping/General Manager will need to implement programs, policies and procedures while managing 25 employees. The preferred candidate will have bed tracking knowledge and blue light inspection experience. This position will report directly to the District Manager and/or other Management as needed. This is a 1st shift position and the General Manager will be required to participate in a rotational "on call" schedule involving rotating weekends and holidays as determined by business demand.
This is a non-nicotine facility and nicotine testing may be required.

Directs all housekeeping operations at a single unit. Supervises all cleaning personnel. Responsible for maintaining payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 4 years
Basic Functional Experience - 4 years
