This
role will be responsible for supporting several elective surgery products in
Optum's Network Solutions business suite. Experience with client relations and
implementations, reporting, and working across functional lines to meet
customer expectations will contribute to success in this role.  Reviews product performance against
expectations and facilitates or influences changes to the product to improve
competitive position and optimal product performance. May work with internal or
external business constituents to determine product future direction and
respond to client inquiries. May include project management and involve working
with various functions including clinical operations, network contracting and
operations, sales and finance.

 

Primary
Responsibilities:

Assesses and
interprets customer needs and requirementsMonitors operational
reporting to proactively identify needed intervention or process changesSupports Product
Managers in ensuring successful implementation of new clients and/or providersIdentifies solutions
to non-standard requests and problemsSolves moderately
complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analysesWorks with minimal
guidance; seeks guidance on only more complex tasksTranslates concepts
into practiceWorks with less
structured, more complex issuesServes as a resource
to others

Requirements

Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree2+ years of Product Management experienceAbility to utilize MS Excel to perform custom reporting, sorting/filtering, creating basic tables and basic formulas, create and manipulate pivot tablesExperience with MS PowerPoint (creating decks from scratch) and MS Word (creating and editing correspondence)Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, General Management or a related fieldPrevious experience with healthcare services products such as care management, wellness, etc.Experience with MS VisioExperience with MS SharePointCore Competencies:Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a matrix environmentDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence othersEffectively communicate at all levels of the organizationAt
