Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee the SG&A budgeting, forecasting and analysis process for UnitedHealth Care Shared Services and participate in consolidating Operating Expense results for UHC Core Services
Create financial models and perform analysis for business leaders and finance management
Conduct monthly variance analysis and reporting for assigned business units
Provide consultation to business owners on financial matters and FTE management
Align hierarchies and related budgets as required to maintain accurate reporting
Support business owners in the development of cost benefit analyses
Identify and implement process improvements
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
Minimum if 1-3 years of financial and / or accounting experience
Strong skills in MS Excel and other MS Office products
Healthcare experience
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or CPA
Hyperion Essbase, Planning and PeopleSoft Financials
