Shop Assembly - Full-time / Part-time

Mechanical Assembler

Job Duties and Requirements:

- Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of Aluminum, Sheet Metal, wood, plywood for the manufacturing of composite boat materials.

- Will be using shop tools, hand tools and power tools for work.

- Must be able to read and follow blue prints.

- Must be able to use hand tools and power tools for assembly.

- Responsible for assembling and fastening materials to make framework or props, using handtools and wood screws.

- Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, and other wooden fixtures used in buildings.

- Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools.

- Cover subfloors with bulding paper to keep out moisture and lay hardwood, parquet, and wood-strip-block floors by nailing floors to subfloor or cementing them to mastic or asphalt base.
