About this job

Provide electrical design, technical analysis and /or resolution of engineering problems for Automotive Voltage Regulators and/or Automotive Sensors. (rectifiers - Alternator, Distributors)
Responsible of complex design applied to the automotive aftermarket. Robust design for Rotary Electric and Engine Management.
Responsible of PCB and Hybrid design for precise operation at high temperature.

  • Design electrical circuits using Power electronics and/or Microcontroller (programming and hardware). (microchips / microchip brand - Automotive)
  • Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
  • Perform sporadic support to Manufacturing and Quality on technically challenging aspects
  • Demonstrate experience as discipline lead engineer.
  • Use and update automotive quality standards (APQP, PPAP, etc)
  • Demonstrate leadership and discipline to drive a development project from concept to pilot run.
  • In charge to study design intends and compare them to patents to outline an Intellectual property baseline.
  • Must have experience with automotive electronics.
  • Must possess superior engineering skills as well as exceptional problem solving competences.
  • Must have advanced knowledge of electrical engineering and design and be familiar with applicable codes, standards and acceptable industry practices
  • Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from an accredited engineering school
    5 years of formal experience in automotive industry or institutional electrical engineering design. Masters is a plus. (10 years ideal)
    Strong verbal and written communication skills required with the ability to prepare written specifications
