Estimator - Full-time / Part-time

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Sr. Project Manager, this position will work closely with sales, project management and drafting to produce estimates and quotes from prints and design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare estimates and written quotes from customer specifications that meet project requirements regarding materials, labor and schedule
* Work with sales team to develop a proper design, CAD sketch and solution for our customer
* Responsible for Bill of Materials (BOM) and cost estimates
* Coordinate with outside engineers to stamp and seal submittal packages
* Manage vendors as necessary
* Ensure project estimates meet safety requirements
* Assist Project Manager with revisions to drawings and changes to quotes
* Read and understand construction drawings, details, and specifications
* Manage multiple bid/estimate projects at one time
* Conduct site walks to determine scope and accuracy of drawings if necessary
* Responsible for material takeoffs
* Prepare user manuals and certification documents
* Coordinate and track recertification for past and present jobs
* Analyze and compile data for labor and materials
