People Support Reporting Analyst
Description

The primary objectives of the People Support Team are: (1) to create and deliver programs and processes that will help attract, motivate, develop, and retain top performers at all levels of the organization, (2) support restaurant crew, managers, and operations staff so they can focus on running great restaurants; and (3) bring Chipotle’s People Culture to life through innovation and creativity.


The Reporting Analyst will research, collect, analyze, and interpret data for internal processes as well as for required government reporting. He/she will be expected to be a quick learner with a zest for challenges and passion for problem-solving.


Responsibilities

In addition to following Chipotle’s policies and procedures, principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


Data Reporting

•Consulting with management to determine the type, scope, and purpose of analysis and reporting; and assisting in the development and implementation of data reporting objectives, capabilities, and schedules

•Collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and distributing HR data for periodic reporting including turnover, hiring, terminations, promotions, transfers, staffing and benefits.

•Preparing executive level reporting on enrollments and costs

•Monitoring claims detail and costs associated with the self-funded medical plan

•Providing analytical and research support for special assignments and projects

•Providing clear and accurate interpretation of changing employee information

•Providing analytical and reporting support for the bonus programs, and performance and merit review processes

•Supplying clear and accurate interpretation of changing employee information


Annual Surveys/Market Analysis

•Preparing annual salary analysis by researching and analyzing market data collected from those surveys, comparing market data to current compensation levels, compiling detailed reports, and communicating/distributing reports to appropriate parties


Miscellaneous

•Assisting in the preparation of compensation and benefit related communication pieces such as brochures, incentive plan documentation, and pay administration publications

•Assisting in the design of compensation and benefit programs as needed


The ideal candidate will:

•Have a B.A./B.S in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field or an equivalent in education and experience

•Possess strong analytical skills with the ability not only to understand data, but to effectively translate data and information as well

•Be technologically savvy

•Have expert skill using Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)

•Enjoy problem-solving and taking on challenges

•Be a quick learner who can work well independently

•Believe that clear communication, organization, and timeliness are essential

•Have excellent attention to detail along with strong proofreading skills

•Have knowledge of and the ability to use a PC as well as Microsoft Office Suite, Access, and Acrobat Adobe software

•Be a strong written and/or verbal communicator

•Enjoy making presentations

•Maintain confidences

•Have the ability to travel minimally
