Food Service Manager (Retail Sales / Operations)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Food Service Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient execution of all fresh food / service programs in compliance with corporate and regulatory guidelines. You will use your experience to train, coach, and direct associates, oversee the inventory and ordering of product and supplies, and ensure routine maintenance and upkeep of the equipment and facilities.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for all customers; responding to customer complaints or inquiries; soliciting customer feedback, input, and information through various communication vehicles
• Ensuring the 24/7 execution of all programs, including proper ordering, production planning, product handling, and display
• Executing department efficiencies and ensuring planograms are utilized and followed
• Managing the training, coaching, and performance of customer service associates
• Ensuring execution of established safety, security, quality, and store operations policies, procedures, and practices
• Analyzing results and trends and preparing action plans to leverage the store's strengths; addressing areas of opportunity to ensure department profitability.
• Gaining knowledge and awareness of marketing programs, campaigns, strategies, and initiatives; educating all associates on the same

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

To qualify for the Food Service Manager role, you must be at least 18 years old and have strong interpersonal and effective communication skills while being customer-service-oriented.

Additional requirements of the Food Service Manager include:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework, training, or certification, preferred
• Leadership experience in a fast-paced retail, food service, or fuel environment
• Availability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays based on business needs, with the ability to maintain a minimum of 46.75 hours per week
• Ability to learn and utilize the store's computer applications
• Reliable transportation
