• Health Net Direct to Consumer Licensed Health Agent
Position Summary:
Connextions, Inc. is currently searching for Licensed Health Agents for our Health Net Direct to Consumer sales account. Connextions is owned by OptumHealth, a subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group. It is the premier growth, retention and service solutions company, aimed at the unique and complex distribution needs of the healthcare market.
The Health Net Sales program provides acquisition marketing and call center support for various Health Net products. This program is seasonal, though longer term positions will be available for top performers, as Connextions ramps up to support Health Net during the annual enrollment period.
The Licensed Health Agent will be responsible for educating, qualifying and enrolling potential members into an appropriate medical plan. The Licensed Health Agent position is a sales position.
Job Responsibilities:
• Take incoming calls from interested parties to discuss applicable insurance plans.
• Educate callers by confirming public, private and confidential information of these programs.
• Educate callers by confirming public, private, and confidential insurance plans.
• Comply with insurance, Medicare, and state sales, marketing and enrolment guidelines as applicable.
• Determine the eligibility of each prospect using CMS (Center for Medicaid Services) guidelines as applicable.
• Process customer requests as they relate to these programs.
• Navigate through multiple system applications to fulfill caller requests, update caller information, create leads for the field team, and research caller status inquiries
• Recognize and comply with our performance standards for work quality, work efficiency, attendance, and schedule adherence
• Understand and comply with guidelines that impact our business, as provided to them by Connextions and our clients


Minimum Requirements

• Minimum Requirements:
• Must have experience in a sales environment
• Must have strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior citizens at all levels
• Must be able to demonstrate empathy, patience, and build rapport with a senior consumer
• Must demonstrate active listening skills
• Must be well organized and have strong time management skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operation systems and applications
• Must be able to navigate through multiple computer systems and windows concurrently
• Must be able to maintain a friendly and supportive demeanor under stressful conditions
• Must have 1 year of telemarketing/appointment setting experience, 1 year of customer service experience solving customer problems, or 1 year of experience in an office setting environment using the telephone or computer as the primary instrument to perform your job duties
• Education of at least high school diploma or GED
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to not understand complex insurance and Medicare programs, but to be able to explain/articulate these programs to callers in a clear, correct, and objective manner
• Experience with outbound dialing a plus
