About this job

Bakery/deli team members must be able to serve our customers in an efficient and friendly way and practice safe food handling procedures. Critical to the job is maintaining a clean and sanitized work area including the maintenance of tables, walls, floors, display cases, walk-in coolers/freezers, fryers and other cooking equipment. You will also assist with inventories, ordering/transmitting product and/or supply orders.

Our bakery will produce the finest delicacies using choice ingredients and best practices. Our deli showcases the area’s finest meats, cheese from around the world, and gourmet prepared meals. As a bakery/deli team member, you will present to customers a fully-stocked, fresh and appealing bakery and deli. In bakery, you will package and properly price products made by the bakers and place them on display for customer purchase. In deli, you will prepare food, offer sampling to customers and recommend products. You will also properly weigh, bag, price and cook deli merchandise for sale. All team members must be proficient at operating scales, slicers, wrapping and cooking/baking equipment as well as comply with company standards and health department regulations for a clean and safe work environment.
