Primary Responsibilities:

Analyzes and investigates
Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise
Uses pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise
Investigates non-standard requests and problems, with some assistance from others
Works exclusively within a specific knowledge area
Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet deadlines
Provides explanations and information to others on topics within area of expertise
Builds out and configures infrastructure for new and existing Facets environments
Deploy Facets application components which will include: Facets interactive, Facets gateway, Facets batch server, Facets letter server, Facets workflow server, Facets FXI'
Serves as a liaison between Optum IT team and vendor/ business users for resolving day-to-day infrastructure and operational issues
Perform patch deployments for custom inventories which will include interfaces, extensions and reports in multiple client-server environments like Wintel, UNIX and Linux
Maintenance and monitoring of Windows batch servers in non-prod and prod environments
CMU tool setup, troubleshooting and maintenance activities in non-prod and prod environments
Researches, analyzes, develops, and documents new processes and procedures for implementing or enhancing IT solutions; Example: Eliminating the admin group access for batch and cmu users
Works as an administrator and manage user security, user groups and roles in Windows servers and Facets
Configuring webservices in IIS for Facets FXI services and/or Custom extensions
Support development and production support teams on day-to-day operations

Required Qualifications:


Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

5+ years of experience with a Healthcare Claims processing Platform in a development role

5+ years of experience in systems analysis and design in the healthcare industry

Experience in building and/or maintaining Facets Components including Interactive Front-end, Batch server, Hipaa Gateway, Letter sever and WorkFlow

Experience in troubleshooting issues related to Facets components and/or other client/server environments

Experience in configuring web service components using IIS

Knowledge in Enterprise Server operating system platforms including Microsoft Windows (64 bit), Unix and Citrix

Experience in deploying patches/add-ons etc. in client/server environments and/or release management
Preferred qualifications:


Experience writing PL/SQL queries

Bachelor's degree

IT project management skills
