Build and Release Architect needed for a temporary opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Jose, CA.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Build and Release Architect is expected to focus primarily on configuration management and participate in all phases of software development life-cycle for new applications
- Build and Release Architect will include source control, builds, configuration management, packaging, tool automation, and other aspects of configuration management for a large software code base.
- Build and Release Architect will work with the application development team to define source control policies, will develop and use tools to build and then enforce such policies.
- Build and Release Architect will also be expected o work and own day to day responsibilities with minimum supervision.
- Build and Release Architect will monitor and maintain build and release infrastructure which includes servers, permissions and disk resources needed.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- BS in CS, EE, CE or related subject matter
- MINIMUM of:
- 5- 10 years of SCM/build experience
- Knowledge of SCM best practices
- Proficient in various programming and scripting languages, especially Python, C, and shell scripting
- Experience with evaluation & use of latest tools in the Continuous Integration Space
- Experience with software development best practices
- Linux kernel and drivers experience
Preferred Job Skills / Certifications / Knowledge:
- Experience building under Embedded Real Time Operating Systems.
- Experience in Wireless industry.
- Experience in a geographically distributed software organization or team.
