Home Instead Senior Care seeks a reliable, responsible, and detail oriented individual to join our team as Weekend Supervisor/Staffing Coordinator.  As the world’s trusted source of non-medical services for seniors, we help people stay in their homes for as long as possible by providing services such as companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping and running errands.  Our CAREGivers also provide personal care services helping with bathing, toileting and grooming.

The Weekend Supervisor/Staff Coordinator position is a dual role that requires the employee to work up to 25 hours during normal business hours of the Monday to Friday work week and every other weekend.  The Weekend Supervisor part of this position is responsible for answering all incoming phone calls and responding to client and CAREGiver needs as they arise on the weekend. When the phone rings, you must answer it and handle the issue in a prompt and professional manner. It can be as simple as communicating a time change or as urgent as finding a CAREGiver to fill a last minute shift. The weekend supervisor role can be managed from home, but requires the flexibility for last minute site visits as additional responsibilities may include conducting care consultations and visiting clients to ensure their needs are being met.  The Weekend Supervisor is the critical link to ensure operations continue uninterrupted during the weekend. We pride ourselves on being available to our clients and CAREGivers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  The Staff Coordinator part of this position is responsible for all aspects of scheduling in order to provide the highest quality service.  This includes successfully matching clients and CAREGivers, arranging introductions, ensuring client and CAREGiver satisfaction and verifying CAREGiver hours.  Occasional weeknight on-call after hour duties are also required.
The ideal person for this combined position has excellent communication skills, exercises good judgment, works independently and can multi-task.  The right individual needs to be available to work nearly every weekend with periodic scheduled weekends off.  If your situation allows you to be focused and dedicated to our clients and CAREGivers, then this may be the perfect job for you!
Additional Information:
  • Must have an associate’s degree or higher.
  • Must have basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Must have valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and clean driving record.
  • Must pass background check and drug test.
  • Flat rate pay for Weekend Supervisor, hourly pay for Staff Coordinator.
