Diesel Mechanic

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Diesel Mechanic.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

• Be authorized to work in the United States.

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Diesel Mechanic to start as soon as possible. The responsibilities include:
Diagnosis mechanical failures and repair tractors, friction cranes, forklifts, batch plant, air compressors and other small components.
Responsible for repairs and required preventative maintenance on all equipment.
Interpret work orders
Repair or replace defective parts, components or systems.
Test repaired equipment for proper performance.
Welding experience a plus
Must be able to work well in a team environment as well as independently as needed.
Regular, reliable, predictable attendance required.

Qualified Candidates for the position will have met the following:
Equivalent of high school diploma or GED and 3 years of related equipment maintenance and repair. OR 2-5 years of related equipment maintenance and repair.
Must furnish own tools.
Valid Driver's License

Preferred:
Mechanical or trade school certificate
ASE Certificate
Welding and/or fabrication skills and or experience

Working conditions:
Shop, office yard, vehicle environment, may require lifting 20 to 50lbs., at least once a day
