Basic Functions:

• Sets and resets dining room tables.
• Responsible for overall cleanliness of restaurant.
• Washes dishes.
• Assists with clearing tables and restocking clean plates, silverware and glassware.

Specific Functions and Duties:

• Resets tables according to specifications of the restaurant.
• Removes plates and silverware when all guests have finished.
• Keeps dish area clean, organized and properly maintains equipment.
• Keeps restaurant adequately supplied with clean plates, glasses, utensils and silverware.
• Performs all opening, closing or side-assigned.
• Performs additional responsibilities including cleaning the restrooms, taking out trash, cleaning the parking lot, mopping floors and other assorted cleaning duties.
• Practices sanitary and safe food handling at all times.
• Performs additional responsibilities although not detailed, as requested by a manager at any time.

Qualifications are:

• Able to place plates, utensils, pans and cases on high and low shelves.
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Able to easily lift and carry 50lbs.
• Must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
