Responsibilities

The Consultant of Business Operations - Executive Support, is responsible for the execution, coordination and general support of the office of the SVP and Managing Director of Operations for VES (Verizon enterprise Solutions) Wireless.

Key responsibilities include leading the creation of all presentations, coordination of relevant data for executive meetings and agenda creation for reviews, events and engagements. The Consultant will need to coordinate information and efforts from across the VES Wireless, Finance, and BGCO, Marketing as well as the Area/Regional wireless teams. This information will be utilized to ensure that all teams who have a hand in the success of the sales organization are demonstrating their involvement and ownership of key programs and initiatives through effective presentation creation.

Core functions include, but are not limited to:

  • SVP and Managing Director of Operations staff meeting management
    • Creation of agendas and recommendations for topics/speakers
    • Creation of relevant presentation materials for SVP and Ops Director, as well as coordination and uniformity of speaker presentations
  • Executive meeting presentation creation
    • Operations Reviews, Webcasts, All Hands Calls, Town Halls, customer engagements
    • PowerPoint deck creation
    • Consolidation of data from business partners
    • Provide recommendations on content and flow
  • Work with multiple departments simultaneously to generate statistics, graphs, initiatives, and other information as needed to aid in the creation of slides needed for presentations and strategy reviews
  • Work with Business Operations counterparts to manage and communicate review schedule
  • Maintain and track updates to open initiatives and action that result from meetings (i.e. staff meetings, operations reviews, etc), maintaining reporting and action registrars and advising leadership of past due commitments
  • Fact check statistics, dates and other relevant data; Manage revisions through multiple versions and modifications
  • Manage additional projects as needed, including statistical analysis, and market research on a routine and ad hoc basis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, MBA preferred
  • Proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple highly complex cross-functional projects/initiatives of varying priority required
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing, business analysis, sales/sales operations with a proven track record
  • Strong analytical skills with successful experience in securing and analyzing large volumes to data to make recommendations to achieve specific operational goals
  • Knowledge of corporate business strategy, wireless technology, market and industry trends
  • Expert level skill in Microsoft Office suite and database management, with emphasis on Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Ability to work under pressure of tight timelines
  • Detail oriented
  • Knowledge of VES and Enterprise customers
  • Verizon Wireless Region and Area Knowledge
  • Excellent writing skills, including spelling, editing and vocabulary required
  • Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines outside of normal business hours when required
  • Experience working with senior leadership, this position will spend 70%+ time analyzing data and preparing presentations and information for the Senior Vice President of VES Wireless
