Position Description:
Cooks will prepare and execute food from our retail and special events menu. You will also maintain safety and sanitation throughout all areas of the kitchen and expo station ensuring all employees and guests are safe

Major Areas of Responsibility:

  • Maintain a sense of urgency while preparing all orders according to the chefs direction and company specification
  • Prepare all food items according to company recipes, plate presentations, and specification
  • Efficiently set up workstation and maintain safety, cleanliness, and sanitation
  • Track and receive product as per chef instruction and company specification
  • Utilize proper waste control practices including logs
  • Assist in cleaning all equipment and maintaining proper working order
  • Assist Kitchen department with other necessary tasks as assigned by Chef including but not limited to: dishwashing, storage, pull/thaw, etc.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work a variety of day, night, and weekend shifts
  • Must be able to listen attentively and rapidly process information
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work under pressure while multitasking
  • Must be able to communicate accurately and professionally with managers and teammates
  • Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for at least six (6) hours in length as mobility is required the entire shift
  • Must have a good sense of balance and be able to bend and kneel frequently
  • Must be able to frequently lift bus tubs and equipment weighing up to fifty (50) pounds
