As an Associate Resources Representative, you will manage the associate resource functions in the assigned Operational Division to ensure Aaron's is attracting, motivating and retaining a high-performing, diverse, and successful workforce. The position is responsible for coordinating recruiting efforts, handling employee relations issues, training, supporting recognition and rewards programs, implementing performance management systems, and helping create and maintain a positive working environment. Ensuring employment related policies, procedures and hiring guidelines are followed. · Advising and counseling management on various associate resource functions. · Communicating and coordinating the handling of associate issues and concerns to maintain a positive work environment. Must have the ability to make fair and unbiased decisions based on the facts. Provide communications on policy and procedure initiatives. · Train managers and associates on a variety of associate resource functions including harassment, discrimination, effective coaching and counseling techniques, etc. · Support Performance Management program. Train and guide associates on career development program. Work with Management team to identify and develop talent. · Ensure proper administration of hiring practices, onboarding program, benefits registration, AU Class registration and compliance classes are completed. · Monitor completion of all Associates AU Training, DOT Compliance, and use of Self-Service to ensure Associates are coded (LOA, terminations, suspensions) correctly. Position Requirements · 3 years prior HR generalist experience in retail or similar industry · Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree with 2 additional years of relevant experience · SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus · Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite · Ability to travel with little notice. · Familiarity for HRIS systems, preferably Ceridian and Taleo. · Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
