POSITION SUMMARY
An IT Group Manager helps create an inspiring workplace where talented people are empowered to drive amazing customer experiences and business results for Nordstrom.
The Group Manager accomplishes this by applying experience with large scale enterprise and mission-critical systems, expertise across disciplines, and knowledge of IT best practices. With a big picture perspective, this strategic leader and staff of managers solves complex technology problems through leading-edge innovations and solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operates as a head of a program area or sub-function
- Leads a staff of managers whose teams to execute on strategic direction through precedent-setting innovations and solutions
- Participates in and influences strategy development with leadership felt beyond direct team
This position may be required to perform other related duties as assigned.

- BA/BS in Computer Science or closely related degree or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of relevant work experience
- 5+ years leading team’s preferable
