Job Summary :

The person hired for the position of IT Quality Lead -- Customer Facing Portfolio will be responsible for leading IT Quality Assurance activities across the portfolio of strategic IT applications in the Customer Facing space. This includes providing quality oversight and guidance for quality-related activities including testing, and driving quality reviews and adherence to established quality standards for IT and Business Leads and the project teams supporting the Customer Facing Portfolio of strategic IT applications. This position requires knowledge and experience applying quality and testing best practices and Computer System Validation requirements and activities. The role requires the ability to work with cross-functional teams from different businesses and countries. The ability of this person to structure and organize testing and related quality assurance activities, as well as communicate with key stakeholders will help ensure success in the IT Quality Services organization.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Provide structured guidance, review and oversight of IT Quality Assurance-related activities and deliverables including IT SOPs, Requirements, Design Documentation, Testing, and Defect Management

- Facilitate risk-based Test Planning and ensure alignment to established program Test Strategy and project schedules

- Identify, escalate, and advise Program, IT, Business, and Quality Leadership on risks and issues to system quality

- Prepare and present the overall quality status within the Customer Facing portfolio to stakeholders

- Facilitate and coordinate Quality Reviews for core deliverables including requirements, design documents, test plans, and test results

- Review and approve Test Plans and Summary Results

- Work with functional area application leads to investigate and verify effective solutions to process issues

- Provide clear and timely communications regarding Quality Assurance activities, deliverables, and related processes across various levels of the organization

- Ensure documentation quality standards and best practices are upheld

- Contribute to continuous improvement activities related to Quality Assurance activities and deliverables to drive operational efficiencies and improve project outcomes

Basic Qualifications:

- Meet or exceed one of the following combinations of experience and education (must be from an accredited learning institution): Bachelor's degree AND a minimum two (2) years of Software Quality Assurance (SQA), Testing, Testing Methodology, and/or Validation experience; OR a two year Associates degree/Technical diploma AND a minimum four (4) years of Software Quality Assurance (SQA), Testing, Testing Methodology, and/or Validation experience

Preferred Qualifications:

- Three (3) years of experience creating & managing a Quality and/or Test Plan

- Two (2) years of experience with IT applications in the Customer Facing portfolio

- Two (2) years of combined experience work with a global implementation project and/or SAP

- Two (2) years of experience working with Quality Test Tools -- HP Quality Center (ALM), Jira, ReqPro, ClearQuest, ClearCase, RQM

- Strong organizational and communication skills, proven track record of strong project coordination/management success

- Experience working in a regulated environment (SOX, FDA, etc) subject to compliance controls

- Health Care Audit experience

- Strong skills in Microsoft Office programs

- Strong skills in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Travel: May include up to 20% domestic or international
