About this job

The primary accountabilities include: Providing project management and engineering services for capital equipment and system upgrade/retro-fit projects. Managing all phases of a project from initial design/estimate, client proposal through fabrication, installation to start-up and commissioning of packaged equipment systems.
Conducting site surveys and client meetings.
Preparation of system proposals for submission to clients and end users
Preparing data sheets and equipment specifications.
Developing P&IDs/PFDs.
Resolving application questions/problems and making equipment recommendations for non-project situations
Utilize standard project management tools to maintain project budgets and monitor delivery schedules to ensure the successful "on time" and "under budget" completion of projects.
Prepare/complete final project documentation (drawings, data sheets, etc.)
Provide technical support to marketing and field sales as assigned

Required:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience in the oil & gas industry and Project Management/Engineering experience with instrumentation and process control equipment.


Expertise with electrical equipment in hazardous locations (NEC/IEC).
Experience in designing skid mounted equipment packages.


Previous working experience with PLCs, industrial networking and wireless telemetry. Knowledge of materials of construction and basic chemistry.
PMI certification. AutoCAD experience.
