About this job
Concerned Care Inc. is seeking compassionate and competent direct care professionals for full and part time work. Employees perform a wide variety of tasks necessary to provide up to 24-hour supervision, care, and teaching to people with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include:
Care for health, safety, and welfare of persons served
Provide active support in a positive environment
Oversee financial activities of persons served and maintain their financial records
Provide transportation and opportunities for community integration and diverse enrichment activities
Create and maintain comprehensive records for persons served and service location
Evening, weekend, and overnight shifts are available. Benefits including health, dental, and life insurance, and paid sick and vacation days are available to all employees in positions requiring at least 30 hours worked weekly.
Positions available include evening and overnight hours. Please include in your cover letter or response whether you are interested in evening work, overnight work, or both.
To be considered, you must:
Be at least 18 years old
Have at least a high school diploma (or equivalent); a college degree in a human services field is preferred
Have a valid driver's license and auto insurance; Class E license is required of employees, but may be obtained after hire
Have access to reliable transportation, and a good driving record
Not have been convicted on felony charges or been substantiated on charges of abuse or neglect
Be in good physical and mental health.
We prefer to hire people with valid certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and Missouri Med Aide I, but we will also provide training and certification to employees as needed. Concerned Care Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
