Position Purpose

Maintain and operate various technologies used in the delivery of instructional and /or interactive programs or courses via Saba Learning Management System. Support the team through the full cycle of creating and deploying eLearning courses and related content. Work closely with Instructional Design team testing and deploying new Learning Technologies. Must be motivated and energetic associate who takes initiative, enjoys finding solutions to a varying number of challenges, is detail-oriented, and takes extreme pride in their work.

 Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

Troubleshoot/resolve course and content technology issues

Routine daily maintenance of existing internal microsites and applications

Ability to communicate directly with peers, managers, and partners to successfully complete projects.

Strong organization skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly within the constraints of our partners’ timelines and budgets.

Ability to grow professionally in a highly flexible and fast-moving environment

Typically reports to Learning Manager

Responsible for helping others and providing on-the-job training or guidance

Environmental Job Requirements

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Must pass the Drug Test.

Must pass Background Check.

Must pass pre-employment test if applicable.

 Education Required - The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

 Years of Relevant Work Experience - 2

Physical Job Requirements - Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with e-Learning authoring tools such as Storyline, Captivate, Flash

Experience with CSS3 Responsive Design/Mobile learning

Experience with eLearning standards such as SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies

Candidate must have a good understanding general web functions and standards

Intermediate knowledge and hands on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, XML, Action Script

Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
