About this job
Based on a community health assessment and input from local community leaders and neighbors, Centura Health decided to transform St. Anthony North Hospital to a facility that provides primary care and crisis care, while retaining the most needed outpatient services. Centura Health transitioned St. Anthony North Hospital into 84th Avenue Neighborhood Health Center on March 3, 2015 to meet the surrounding community's health needs and provide solutions where identified gaps in health care services and resources existed. Many of the outpatient services offered at St. Anthony North Hospital, including an ER, remain and new services have been added, including primary care, crisis care and specialty physician practices, to provide even more care in one convenient location.

Hospital: 84th AVENUE NEIGHBORHOOD HC
Schedule: Full Time 36 hours per week
Shift: Night Shift 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Position Summary
Responsible for developing, achieving and maintaining the goals of a unit or department by focusing on the unit or department's daily operations. Consistently promotes a positive work environment by being visible and available to all levels of staff and customers. Collaboratively works with nurse leaders in maintaining productivity, supporting hospital initiatives and ensuring units/departments are appropriately staffed. Will assist in identifying staff development needs with an emphasis on evidence based practice and education. The Assistant Nurse Manager's (ANM) annual performance review is dependent upon departmental goals and outcomes achieved along with the key performance indicators of the team the ANM directly supervises. Key performance indicators will include but are not limited to:
* Patient Satisfaction improvement/stabilization
* Productivity- meeting unit based financial targets
* Core measures- improve and maintain a >90% bundle score
* Narcotic oversight- zero tolerance for breaches
* Medication Safety- zero tolerance for breaches
* Red Rules- zero tolerance for breaches
* Patient Hourly Rounding- consistently performed
* Associate Rounding-every associate, every month
* Active participation/implementation in facility or unit based councils and committees as assigned by unit leader
* Physician Nurse rounding-consistently performed in inpatient areas Please review job addendum.
Minimum Education Requirements
Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN), preferred
Minimum Experience Requirements
Three years of Registered Nurse experience
Two years of experience in specific department focus, preferred
Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
Responsible for supervising a group of staff as defined by department leader
Provides patient care as required
Demonstrates commitment to the role as evidenced by attendance at all assigned ANM forums and assigned leadership development courses.
Attendance at optional leadership development and clinical specialty education is an expectation of self-directed professional growth.
License/Certifications
Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) License
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from American Heart Association
TNCC and ENPC or PALS preferred upon hire or must obtain within six months of hire or transfer date
Certified in National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke scale preferred upon hire or must obtain within 45 days of hire or transfer date
Current appropriate facility identified national certification upon hire, or within one year of certification eligibility
Physical Requirements
Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.
