Home Instead Senior Care is Now Hiring for All Shifts in Waukesha County!

Previous CAREGiving experience is not required. We do require you to have a soft heart, compassion, and the highest level of dependability.

By joining us, you will be part of a professional team who will work with you to ensure your success. We provide paid training.

As a CAREGiver with Home Instead Senior Care, you will provide:
*Companionship and conversation
*Stabilization and assistance with walking
*Meals and clean up meal-related items
*Medication and appointment reminders
*Light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, etc.)
*Washing and ironing laundry
*Errands
*Accompanying clients to appointments
*Bathing assistance
*Grooming assistance
*Toileting and incontinence care assistance
*Alzheimer's/Dementia Care

Essential Job Requirements:
*Ability to speak and hear English clearly in person and on the telephone
*Ability to read and write English
*Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds
*Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reach
*Ability to consistently provide physical assistance to a client (i.e. stand-by assistance while walking, assist client with transfers)
*Complete a criminal background check, DMV check, pre-employment drug screen
*Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance
*Ability to withstand exposure to dust, mold, mildew and cleaning solutions
*Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect
*Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations
*Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
