IP Telephony Engineer needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Santa Ana, CA.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Plays a lead role in the migration of legacy sites to Cisco VoIP
- Plays a lead role in the design, planning, configuration, and implementation of remote office IP Telephony infrastructure
- Develops and Implements IP Telephony procedures related to engineering, architecture, security, interoperability and operations
- Provides Level-3 incident response and problem management support for IP Telephony systems-interfacing with the IT Service Center
- Provides Level-3 problem management support, interfacing with other key Corporate IT teams, such as LAN, WAN and Security
- Researches software and hardware issues related to the company's IP Telephony infrastructure
- Maintains the health of the IP Telephony environment through the performance of scheduled reboots and the implementation of appropriate automated alerts
- Performs moderately complex engineering tasks such as planning and implementation of system upgrades, server patch management and architectural reviews
- Interacts with various hardware and carrier vendor-partners to plan and implement required engineering support
- Interfaces with vendor-partners (such as Cisco TAC), as required, to troubleshoot, escalate and resolve problems and/or outages
- Maintains and configures peripheral Telephony systems including but not limited to Call Accounting, Call Recording, Symon Boards, and ARC Consoles
- Provides engineering support to the IP Telephony infrastructure related to company contact centers
- Performs other tasks and leads projects, as required, in support of the enterprise IP Telephony infrastructure and operation
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Advanced Knowledge and Experience with Cisco Integrated Services Routers
- Advanced Knowledge and Experience with Cisco Communications Manager
- Advanced Knowledge and Experience with Cisco Unity
- Working Knowledge and Experience with Cisco Call Center
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
- Working Knowledge of LAN/WAN communications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree Preferred, or equivalent experience
