Lead HEDIS Nurse needed for a contract to possible hire opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Francisco, CA.
Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Leadership experience
- HEDIS experience
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supervise a project team of temporary HEDIS abstractors and coordinators (annually January-May)
- Conduct medical record abstraction and over-read the team's data collection submissions and processes
- Ensure HEDIS processes and outcomes comply with all National Committee on Quality Assurance (NCQA) requirements and technical specifications
- Lead HEDIS clinical audit process, including documentation and responses to the auditors' requested data
- Provide technical assistance to providers and clinics regarding medical record documentation improvement opportunities and process to close gaps in care in order to achieve the highest HEDIS rates possible
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
- California RN license without restriction required
- At least 2 years of managed care or UM/QM experience, preferred
- Experience working in quality management/improvement, preferred
- Ability to provide excellent disease management support to members via telephone
- Knowledge of state and federal insurance programs, preferred
- Proficient in Computer and Microsoft Applications
