JOB SUMMARY
The togo worker is responsible for taking all togo phone calls and in store orders. They must accurately record, order and deliver the food to the guest.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
The sever reports directly to the assistant manager or GM.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcomes and greets guests.
- When possible, opens the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant
- Takes food and beverage orders from guests and enters orders in point-of-sale system
- Maintains outstanding knowledge of the core menu, drink menu and LTO menu and is able to answer guests’ questions on the items
- Takes payment from guests using any applicable gift cards, rewards card, discount or coupon.
- Responsible for the to-go cash drawer and all monies contained
- Provides guests with estimated waiting time for the order
- Maintains restroom cleanliness
- Answers the phone with a smile
- Assists in running food to the dining room
HIRING REQUIREMENTS
- Age requirement will be determined by local government
- Must exude hospitality and charisma
- Is able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the restaurant’s trading area
