About this job

  • This position will be responsible for business analysis of call center operations and for making recommendations for improvement through the use of data analysis and performance trending.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining business relationships with key stakeholders and providing reporting solutions to meet organizational objectives. 
  • Create business and associate level reporting from concept to implementation to include scope, definition, design and development through various programming software like MS SQL, Crystal Reports, and the Microsoft Office suite of applications. 
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis and presentations in a time sensitive matter with a high degree of accuracy. 
  • Manage and develop a small team of administrators to assist in meeting overall goals. 

    Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
  • Business Analysis of supported business product lines
  • Develop/Produce various performance reports using Access, Excel, Crystal Reports 10, and SQL
  • Communicate with leadership team concerning requests or enhancements
  • Documentation of Reporting processes and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

    Nature and Scope:
  • Accountable for direct supervision of the work activities of others. 
  • Planning, monitoring and reviewing work of subordinates is required. This may include direct supervision of a shift or the coordination of multiple work groups. 
  • Make recommendations concerning selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development.
  • Position Reports to Sr. Reporting Analyst. 

    Environmental Job Requirements:
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area in a call center environment. 
  • Must meet reasonable deadlines, quotas or demands for accuracy and/or may be involved in some mildly difficult and or challenging situations.
  • Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age.
  • Must pass the drug screening test.
  • Must pass the background check.
  • Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:
  • The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

    2 Years of Relevant Work Experience

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
  • Strong statistical background.
  • SQL or relational database experience and Visual Basic coding skills.
  • Advanced Excel XP and Access XP skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with multiple levels of management.
  • Ability to make logical relationships between data sets to describe business activities.
  • Must be able to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience developing agent and business level reporting in a call center environment.
  • Experience making business recommendations to leadership.
  • Crystal Reporting, CMS, Blue Pumpkin, NICE software experience a plus.
  • Project management and process documentation experience a plus.
