Financial Analyst - Full-time / Part-time

NC Mentor is seeking a Financial Analyst to be responsible for providing consolidated reporting, analysis, and budgeting/forecasting for the entire company. Will work closely with key Operating group and corporate leaders to drive value and consistency. Also be a key member of providing solid analysis to improve company performance.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below.

• Develops and maintains weekly and month end dashboards and key metrics to monitor the financial performance of numerous Operating Groups.
• Reports and reviews transactional data weekly for accuracy. Notifies operations and finance of any issues.
• Assists with high level review of the Network budget and forecasts.
• Assists with monthly review and analysis of financial results with recommendations and action steps to deal with variances.
• Analyzes, evaluates and interprets data – actual to budget, forecast and LTM.
• Attends trainings and prepares required individual State cost reports
• Prepares thoughtful and value added service line analysis to allow for better operational decision making.
• Participates in analysis of current operating systems, maintains project planning and documentation. Analyzes current processes and recommends solutions and improvements.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with members of the finance and operations
• Participates in special projects
• Performs other related duties and activities as required.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree Finance or related field and a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience. Experience with business reviews and business metrics analysis a plus. Strong Excel skills required.
