Laser Applications Engineer needed for a direct hire opportunity with Yoh's client located in Charlotte, NC.
Must be currently eligible to work in the US for any employer.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide technical leadership and serve as subject matter expert for Fiber Laser products for MMUSA and for its customers.
- Analyze customer machine and tooling requirements and generate programs used to operate Muratec Fiber Laser machines to meet or exceed requirements.
- Resolve complex application issues to support Fabrication sales and during installation and acceptance at customer sites.
- Generate software and machine time studies, summaries, and reports on methods used in the fabrication of demonstration parts.
- Provide training to customers on Fiber Laser products.
- Participates in development of sales and marketing tools, and attends trade shows and events to provide technical expertise and sales support.
- Proficient in CAD / CAM Laser Programming and 3D Modeling Software, including Radan and/or Striker applications.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and leadership while interacting with customers, industry partners, and co-workers.
- Communicate effectively with customers and applications team members to deliver results that drive customer satisfaction.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Other duties may be assigned.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Minimum of five (5) years of CO2 or Fiber Laser experience
- Proficient with CAD/CAM laser programming software
- Proficient with 3D modeling software
- Ability to read blueprints
- Able to travel up to 30% including overnight & international
