Job Description for Telephone Order

Job Description:
Responsible to answer incoming calls during the holiday season.
Incoming calls will be for company product to be shipped, picked up or use courier service for delivery.
Courier deliveries only in the Nashville and surrounding areas per information given.
Telephone voice is to be easily understood, ample loudness without being overly loud.
One to five orders can be taken over the telephone during one call more than five it is requested the customer email or fax the list in.

Note: if order exceeds 5 (five) transfer to designated staff.
All orders are directly input in to the AS400 system.
Spelling and punctuation imperative.
Consistent patience with each customer.
Ability to work in a cubicle setting.

Skills/Knowledge: •Telephone skills. •Attention to detail. •Spelling. •Punctuation. Environment: •Train with Holiday Trainer. AS 400 System. •Office environment, sitting, standing, lifting up to 5 lbs. •1st floor with elevator or stairs to 2nd floor. •Parking on or near site no charge. •Lunch, unpaid 1 hour. Dress: •Business casual •Jeans on Friday-classy only •Excellent personal hygiene Hours: •Hours of operation: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Lobby hours 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. •Holiday season November 1st through approximately December 23rd, as needed to include overtime.
