WHITESVILLE BAPTIST CHURCH - FULL TIME PASTOR POSITION

Our church is seeking a Full-Time Pastor to work and live in the Whitesville, KY, community.  Whitesville, KY, is located approximately 20 minutes east of Owensboro, KY.  Whitesville's population is around 1,000.  Owensboro, KY, is an estimated 58,000.  Whitesville is a small close knit community and has a great opportunity to reach locals with the gospel.  Currently, Whitesville Baptist Church has an average Sunday worship attendance of 50-70 people but has been much higher in the past.  The church has 2 new deacons and is led by a tenured deacon that has been with the church for many years.  The church is full of people that want to serve the community and each other with the Lord's blessing.  The church has many resources to offer the community including a worship sanctuary, a separate fellowship hall, and nearly 10 acres of land.

Goals for our new pastor would be:

1. Reach the community and grow the church for the glory of the Lord.
2. Help to get young families involved and reach children as well as adults.
3. Be a part of the community in service to others.
4. Lead our Sunday and Wednesday night services.
5. Experience with youth and or music ministries would be a plus.
