Job Description: Quality Engineer
Principle Accountabilities:
- This individual will be assisting the Quality Program Manager, as well as the process engineers and product engineers with interfacing with customers on an as-needed basis
- This individual will be involved with the development and implementation of procedures and methods for disposing of discrepant material, as well as coming up with methods to access responsibility and cost
- This candidate will be directing workers engaged in the testing and measuring of products, as well as analyzing data about the quality of the process, the product, and the reliability of it
- This candidate will be responsible for writing and compiling materials for training, as well as conducting training sessions about activities involving quality control
- This engineer will be designing and implementing procedures for testing and inspecting the accuracy and precision of the products, as well as the production equipment
- This candidate will be heavily involved with activities involving validation - such as the creating the validation master plan, working with validation protocols, as well as validation reports on the medical products
- This candidate will be comprising sampling procedures and designs, in addition to developing instructions and forms for evaluating, recording, and reporting reliability and quality data
- This individual will be establishing a program to analyze the accuracy and precision of the production equipment
- This candidate will be supporting the development, as well as implementation of audits
Work Environment:
This is a large manufacturing facility
Qualifications:
- A degree is not required but is preferred - preferably a BSME
- This candidate must have at least ten years of experience
- It is required this individual has experience working in the medical device industry
- Experience working with assembly and molding is desired, but no required
