Responsible for testing drug-effects in rodent models including daily operation for monitoring and troubleshooting of behavioral assays and analyzing behavioral data. Develops behavioral assays of learning and memory in rodents and performs studies for assay development under general supervision. Makes observations, collects and analyzes data using software analysis platforms. Contributes towards scientific research. Executes laboratory experiments.

Qualifications: BSc or MSc degree in Biology or a related subject and a minimum of one year experience handling rodents in an academic or industry environment.
A minimum of one year experience handling small animals in academia or the pharmaceutical biotechnology industry is required.
Good interpersonal communication skills, integrity, and honesty are expected.
Performance Expectations: Conduct in vivo behavioral studies in rodents to test the role of novel compounds in formation and other aspects of cognition
Collect and analyze behavioral data.
Work in an interdisciplinary team of molecular biologists, pharmacologists and behaviorists
Experience with various rodent behavioral protocols, including assays of learning/memory, motor function and/or sensory perception would be a plus.
Proficiency with commonly used computer applications, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
