Windows Systems Administrator

• Windows Patching/Server Administrator who has current hands on working experience of Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2012.
• Will be responsible for maintaining documentation around process of Windows Server Patching, management of the change
• Process and maintenance of regulatory, legal and professional standards. Will need to be quick to adapt to change in the process and drive those changes amongst the other teams when new processes are released.
• Will manage the all phases of Windows patching including however not limited to: Assessing applicable patches on all versions of Windows, working closely with and providing timely communication with IBM and JLL teams to ensure all servers are patched on time per the patch release, working with the IEM team to schedule servers for patching.
• Must have strong current technical knowledge, excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
• The ability to work independently and as a dedicated team member is required.
• 4+ years of hands on experience administering Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012
• 4+ years of strong Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012 troubleshooting Experience
• 2+ years IEM BigFix for patching and security health checking
• Excellent organization skills is a must
• Must be on site in downtown Chicago IL, this is a server position
• This will also require flexibility in the hours to cover managing the patches.
• Monday 8am 5pm CT
• Tuesday Off
• Wednesday 8am 5pm CT
• Thursday 8am 5pm CT
• Friday 8am 5pm CT once or twice a month changes to 4pm 12am CDT
• Saturday 4pm 12am CT (can roll into Sunday early hours), if no patching scheduled it will be 8am 5pm CT.
• Sunday Off
